Oxygen-15 Water and Nitrogen-13 Ammonia First Images in Turkey

Measurements of resting cardiac muscle blood flow (MBF) in patients with chronic left cavum anemia disfunction by 15O-water with 13N-ammonia and PET have yielded conflicting results. The aim of this study was to perform a head-to-head comparison of each tracers within the same patient population and to answer the question of whether or not distinctive tracer properties account for variations in estimates of MBF in inveterately dysfunctional cardiac muscle by each tracers.
